1. What time is service? And what is it like?

   We offer worship services on Sunday mornings at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM, and on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. We have Traditional and Contemporary Services, which alternate between 8:30 & 11:00 every Sunday. The Wednesday night service is always Traditional.

2. What about my kids?

   We have Sunday School from September through May for Nursery through Grade 8. Grade 6 is PreConfirmation, Grade 7 is 1st Year Confirmation, and Grade 8 is 2nd Year Confirmation. There is also a very special part of the Sunday worship service called the Children’s Sermon, where the little children are welcome to come up for about 3-4 minutes for their own sermon and they even get a bulletin with fun activities. We also have Vacation Bible School every July for a fun filled week of learning, crafts, singing, games and food.

3. But I have very young kids and they are sometimes loud during church.

   We do have a cry room in the back of the church. Honestly though, if it’s not that bad, it’s OK. We love evidence that there are children in church. Matthew 19:14 says: Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

4. I’m nervous to walk in and be a stranger. Can someone help me?

Absolutely! When you first walk in, there is a 99% chance Pastor Steele will be standing there to warmly greet you. Many other friendly Lutherans will most likely also be standing around. There is a good chance that at least a few of them will not be too engrossed in conversations with each other that they will notice and welcome you. If however you don’t want to take that chance, give Lynn, the church secretary a call beforehand and let her know when you plan on coming and she will be sure to line someone up to greet you. Office hours are M-F, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
