Education Day

Sunday was a big day for our Sunday School addition. Not so much because of the amount of work that got done on the building, but the importance of what got installed on the building.

With the wonderful weather we also had a wonderful crowd to celebrate Education Day and see the new addition.

Anyone who wanted to could sign the back of our mosaic (the one we created on Easter Sunday) and then we installed it over our front entrance.


We also have another big day on the horizon. On October 21st we will be dedicating the addition. Following the late service (12:00 noon for those who go to early service) we will head over to the Sunday School addition for a brief dedication service. Right after that service we will have a potluck dinner and special video presentation about the building of the Sunday School addition in the church fellowship hall.

From Tyvek to Brown Aluminum

We are quickly bringing our Sunday School addition to a close. That does not mean that we are done yet by any means, but the items we are working on are finish items.

We are finishing off the soffit, facia, and vertical sections over the windows with brown aluminum trim.

The vinyl siding is done! The air conditioning is installed!

The tile is done!

The ceiling tiles are installed!

Join us on a Friday or Saturday as put the finishing touches on the addition. This Friday and Saturday the carpet will be installed, along with vinyl runners on the stairs.

This Sunday (September 9th) is Education Day. All the parents and children planning on attending Sunday School should come to the Sunday School Addition to register, and meet their teacher. After everyone has registered, everyone is invited to join us as we install the children’s mosaic which we made at Easter, and for a reception in the new addition.
