What Do They Have In Common?

What does a man dressed like this...

have in common with a woman dressed like a star...

or a man with a bone superglued to his nose...

or "sneaker Jesus"...

or kids pretending to be branches...

or an angel?



Answer: They were all part of a very successful VBS!

We had 111 kids who came to our Vacation Bible School, and we (the adults) were grateful for every one of them. Matter of fact we were willing to dress up in funny costumes, because we cared about them learning about Jesus!

Our theme was "Safari Adventure" and had an African Safari feel to it. The decorations were keyed around Africa, and included several African animals, lots of grasses and plants and even came complete with a 15' waterfall in the chancel of church.

Our theme song said: Let's find the King, let's follow the King, let's know the King, and believe the King! Let's share the King! Praise God that's what happened this past week here at VBS!
